The Game

Rules
1) Deck
20 cards per deck
BattleField
2) Game Play
BasicsMaximum of 5 cards in hand
each player starts with 69 souls in the soul pool
each player has 6 play zones
the main way to drain the opps Soul pool is via direct extraction, this is when you have a battler on the battlefield and the opp does not you can then make a direct extraction for the same value as your battlers soul level
you can make a direct extraction once per turn for each battler you have on the battlefield
Players can not claim souls directly unless the opponant has not played a battler for 2 consectutive turns, so they esstailly get one free turn where they do not have to summon a battler before its open season
Realm power bonus is 100 per power level of the battlers
realmroller to be rolled before beginning to select a realm for both players fields
only battlers can be played on to the field
the battlefield is a 6 zone pyramid with
a row of 3  (this is the back row)
then a row of 2  (this is the middle row)
and a row of 1  (this is the front row)
there only other zones in the game are the deck zone for your deck and the afterlife pile for fallen battlers and utilised utilities
players can not target a battler for battle if a battler occupies a zone in a row in front
when playing a battler a soul sacrifice must be made from the soul pool equal to the battlers level
to win you must drain your opponants soul pool to 0
you can only make 1 soul summoning per turn
at the start of a players turn, the turn player must draw from the deck until they have 5 cards in hand
then the player plays out thier turn by summoning, battling or utilziing
utility cards are mulit functional cards and play slightly differently depening on thier effect, how to play the card will be included within its effect text, but usually comes down to one of 2 types either it will be equip to a battler – for utils with more continous effects or they will be played from the hand – for utils with a quick play or one time effect.
utility cards can be played at any point during either players turn
each battler can engage in battle once per turn
when battling the battler with the highest power level wins and banishes the losing battler to the afterlife pile
battlers also have effects, these can only be used when the battler is on the battlefield (unless otherwise stated)
